The life of a honeybee is a complex and interesting
arrangement involving not only the bees but many plants,
animals, and people. Students will look into an active hive,
talk with a beekeeper, watch the honey extraction process,
and taste the honey as they learn the importance of bees.

Please choose the time slot that works best for your family. We will need to break into 2 smaller groups. If your group is not in the program, you are welcome to wander the nature center. Pack bag lunches for a picnic onsite at 12:00.

*Note, if there isn’t room for the caregivers in the bee sheds, we can wait outside while the kids interact with the hives and beekeepers. Therefore there is no fee for caregivers.

No refunds on tickets. Enrolled families only.
